A path into bonsai
Bonsai practitioner from Slovenia
Matija Triglav is associated with yamadori and European bonsai practice. Tony Tickle documents a larch sourced from him, and photographs in Maroš Belan’s masterclass account show him working in the garden in 2019.
Style and working approach
The documented examples offer insight into distinctive starting material and practical styling. They do not establish one fixed school of design: looking at the individual tree is a better way to explore his work.
